About Quincy Entertainment

Quincy Entertainment Inc. was founded in May of 2003. The inspiration for this endeavor evolved through working with Rik Emmett and his manager Rick Wharton. Rik gives select fans the opportunity to put on what he calls "Network Shows." Here the fan functions as the promoter and puts the concert together. With the mentoring of Rick Wharton the first Atlanta show took place in September 2001 and was a huge hit. In December 2002 Rik returned to Atlanta for another extremely successful show. After that, suggestions started coming in to do more shows. As a result, Quincy Entertainment was created to bring a variety of unique concert experiences to the Atlanta area. Most shows are acoustic in nature, featuring all genres of singer/songwriter and rock oriented music. We will also have full plugged in band shows as well as comedy shows. The most important aspect to any of these shows is to give the fans a great experience!

The main room we are currently using is Tavern on the Bridge. This is located on the Duluth/Alpharetta line. This is a very nice club where you will be made to feel extremely comfortable. They have a great dinner menu for those of you who want to take in dinner along with the show. There is a fair amount of seating around the club and some shows will have limited reserved seating. Parking is plentiful and free. There will also be shows at Earthlink Live for some of the bigger acts. Earthlink Live is an awesome room which has two configurations: all seated and mainly seated with standing room only of the floor. Finally, the Gwinnett Performing Arts Center will be utilized as well. This beautiful 702 seat theater, with its great acoustics and ample free parking is a very classy venue which hosted the "Intimate Evening Concerts" of 2004.

ENJOY THE SHOW!

An article about us from The Sunday Paper.

"Mike is top shelf; One of the finest promoters/producers I have met and worked with. Always thinking of the artist. Not only does Mike have a passion for promoting music and comedy shows, but a passion that extends to getting the show and business done right." -- Rick Wharton, Actor/Comedian/Producer
